The science of natural ingredients in our Hydra Re-New Lip Care formula is truly unique. This formula is designed to hydrate, nourish and protect with Biomimetic principles in mind. After a long standing frustration by lack of readily available high quality lip care that I could recommend to my patients, I sought to offer a formula which fully reflected our deep knowledge of lips and their needs.
Our Hydra-Renew Lip Care is centred on Skin Loving Sea-Buckthorn Synergy, Medicinal Form of Chamomile + Bisabolol, and both SPF 30 UVB and UVA protection. A Trilogy of Lip Care™ packed with botanical ingredients with powerful antioxidant and anti-ageing properties that are further strengthened by an additional dose of Vitamin E.
About Sea-Buckthorn
This lip balm is a contemporary, sun-kissed orange colour thanks to a small yet powerful and joyful orange berry of sea-buckthorn.

The Sea-buckthorn in our formulation is exclusively grown on the coast of the North Sea in Germany. The Oil is organic, crafted by CO2 supercritical extraction to optimally preserve the almost 200 bioactive substances in the berry. This orange berry is unique in the botanical world and is packed with vitamins A, C + E, as well as with fatty acids, polyphenols, glycolipids and many other bio-actives.
Sea-buckthorn is the only plant in the world containing all 4 omega fatty acids, Omega 3, 6 ,9 and the rare Omega 7 palmitoleic acid which is a natural component of lip and skin lipids. This gives the oil effective regenerative, strong antioxidant and anti-ageing properties. It helps to support wound healing, retain moisture and boosts collagen production.

About our Chamomile + Bisabolol
Not just an ordinary chamomile extract, this Medicinal form of Chamomile + Bisabolol in our formulation is CO2 super-critically extracted for superior and optimal anti-inflammatory, healing and soothing effects. This means that with the CO2 extraction method, the highly valuable labile matricine in chamomile is not decomposed to blue coloured chamazulene with inferior anti-inflammatory effect.

Bisabolol is much loved and has been used for hundreds of years. This ingredient has been extensively studied as a natural ingredient and, with its anti-inflammatory properties, it is calming, soothing, softening and antimicrobial. Bisabolol acts as a potent antioxidant, protecting the skin and lips from free radical damage. It is also known as a transport molecule as it helps to enhance the absorption of other ingredients and oils deeper into skin and lip tissue, working to nurture from within. The bisabolol in our Hydra Re-New Lip Care is highly concentrated and derived directly from chamomile. It has a sweet flowery aroma.
Our Chamomile is grown in the meadow fields of Austria, Germany and Serbia by methods of Integrated farming. Integrated farming is a European agricultural organic standard of whole farm management system which aims to deliver sustainable agriculture.
I remember Chamomile well from my childhood in Europe growing wild in fields and verges. It was always revered as a herb with well established ancestral knowledge of its benefits.
